How I See It
I work with founders who set out to build something bigger than the business itself, and somewhere along the way, lost sight of it.
Sometimes founders lose the plot. I remind them what the plot was.
I'm not there to tell them what to do. They already know how to run their business. I'm there to reveal what they can't see anymore, so the thing they meant to build finally gets a chance to exist.
I'm Detroit, at the root of it. Everything I build carries that.
My work has shown up in the strategy behind Wolfgang Puck Catering, the concept development for Neighbor by FOLK at Michigan Central, the brand elevation for Rumi's Kitchen, and the experience direction for Fanny's LA inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Right now, I'm building Dept. of Origin, a hair and social experiment, and writing Inside, Then Out - Always, essays on identity, signals, and experience.

Sound Familiar?
If you've built something meaningful and can feel that you've lost sight of some part of it, I'd like to hear about it.
